När det kommer till kreativa saker så finns det inte mycket som jag inte klarar av. Nu under påsk bestämde jag mig för att gå tillbaka till ombre. Istället för att gå till frisören så bestämde jag mig för att göra det själv.

When it comes to creative things there is not much that I can´t do. Now during Easter I decided to go back to ombre. Instead of going to the hairdresser so I decided to do it myself.

Jag valde att använda MOOD då dom är billigast. Sammanlagt har jag betalat 100 kronor vilket är super billigt då det skulle kostat ca 1500 på salong. Första blekningen som jag köpte var en som bleker 3 nyanser. Jag ville se hur håret skulle reagera på blekningen, speciellt eftersom att jag har röda pigment i håret. Man såg en liten skillnad men jag var inte riktigt nöjd så nästa blekning som jag köpte från MOOD blekte upp till 6 nyanser.

I decided to use the hair brand MOOD because they are the cheapest. All together this cost me 100 sek and that is really cheap because if I had went to a hairdresser it could have cost around 1500 sek. The first bleach that I used only had 3 shades. I wanted to see how my hair would react to the bleach, specially when I have red pigmentation in it. You could see a small different but I was not happy so I went and got another bleach from MOOD. This one had 6 shades.

Tekniken som jag använde heter balayage. Tekniken går ut på att få en så naturligt övergång som möjligt. Man jobbar i en triangel när man applicerar färgen. Man lägger mycket färg i topparna och sen slingar man då triangeln för ett naturligt resultat. Detta för att skapa en ombre effekt. Ombre betyder skugga på franska och det är att man ska gå från mörk hårbotten till ljusare toppar.

The technique that I used is called balayage. When using the technique you want to get a natural result as possible. When applying the color for a balayage, you sweep the color through small triangle sections of the hair. This creates and ombre effect. Ombre is frensh for shadow and you want the hair to be darker by the rots and then lighter trough the hair down to the ends. 

Dessa bilderna är tagna precis efter den sista blekningen. Det enda jag har gjort är att föna det torrt, locka det och borsta ut lockarna. Jag har inte haft i efterbehandlingen eller några andra produkter. Nästa gång vi handlar så ska jag köpa en askblond färg att ha i för att dämpa de röda pigmenten men jag är riktigt nöjd över resultatet.

We took these pictures after my last bleach. The only thing I´ve done is using a hairdryer, curl and brush out the curls. I have not used the after treatment or any other products in the hair. Next time when we go shopping I will buy a ash blonde color to tone down the red pigments but I´m super happy with how it looks.
