In the world of the Anguis, death is the only way out, and these men are handsome grim reapers dressed in fine suits. But as their heated looks and rough, blood-stained hands become more alluring each day, giving in to their games becomes a temptation I can’t avoid. Lines are blurred and longing spills over as I quickly find myself craving their darkness. I can’t succumb to three beautiful monsters… Can I?
Boken är bra skriven, den är spännande och det är en sjuk cliffhanger i slutet som jag inte alls var beredd på. Det är fyra huvudkaraktärer och du får läsa boken från allas perspektiv vilket jag älskar. Men det gör också att boken tyvärr blir väldigt förutsägbar.
Ska du skriva en bok om människor (alltså ”vår värld” och inget supernatural) då får man ändå hålla sig inom rimliga gränser kan jag känna. Fox som är huvudkaraktären är överkåt precis hela tiden. I situationer där hon verkligen inte borde vara kåt, så är hon superkåt. Och yes, det är en dark romance men det är detta jag känner är överdrivet. Samma med en av killarna, Raven. Han beskrivs som att han är mer monster än människa. Hans sätt att behandla Fox känns också väldigt överdrivet. Jag ger den 2 av 5.
